Trust & verification

Check us before you trade with us.

Eight layers of verification sit behind every ARAM offer. Here is what we check, the evidence each check produces, and how you can verify ARAM itself.

ARAM entities

01The verification stack

Eight questions every trade must answer.

A buyer's compliance team asks these in order. We answer them before an offer reaches you — and show the evidence.

  1. 01Company

    Who is ARAM?

Our entities, registries, offices, policies and contracting rules are published — and the only domain and mailboxes we use.

    • Entity and registration status
    • Published policies
    • Verify-a-message service
    Company & governance
  2. 02Counterparty

Who are the supplier and the buyer?

Both sides complete KYC: registration, directors, beneficial owners, licences, bank account, sanctions and adverse-media screening.

    • KYC pack
    • Sanctions screening
    • Licence check with the authority
    KYC requirements
  3. 03Origin

Where does the material come from?

Country and, where recorded, region or mine are declared on the lot, then checked against permits, transport and custody records.

    • Mine-of-origin declaration
    • Certificate of origin
    • Chain-of-custody record
    How origin is verified
  4. 04Quality

Is it what the specification says?

Aromatics: COA and GC-MS per lot, samples first. Minerals: independent sampling and assay, with an umpire rule written into the contract.

    • Certificate of analysis
    • GC-MS profile
    • Assay certificate
    Quality & assay
  5. 05Documentation

    What paperwork comes with it?

Documents are attached to the lot or shipment they describe — never reused from another lot — and listed as available, on request or absent.

    • Lot-level document index
    • SDS
    • Document pack templates
    Document pack
  6. 06Compliance

Can it be lawfully exported and imported?

Export bans, quotas and levies, 3TG due diligence, gold controls, Kimberley Process, CITES and radioactive-cargo rules are checked before an offer publishes.

    • Export permit
    • OECD Annex II questionnaire
    • CITES permit where listed
    Compliance framework
  7. 07Logistics

How does it reach the buyer?

A corridor is chosen for the cargo, containers are inspected and sealed, and seal numbers are reconciled at every hand-over.

    • Pre-shipment inspection
    • Seal log
    • Bill of lading
    Logistics corridors
  8. 08Transaction

    How is the money protected?

Written contract with a listed ARAM entity, payment only to an account in that entity's name, documentary terms — and no advance fees, ever.

    • Commercial offer (ARAM-T-02)
    • Contract
    • Bank-detail confirmation by phone

02Specimen documents

The kind of evidence we expect to provide.

Worked examples of the documents that travel with an ARAM lot or shipment, laid out as the real ones are. They are sealed to registered customers. Each is marked SPECIMEN: the figures are representative, not from a real lot, and third-party issuers are named by role.

03Verification marks

Every badge is a process.

You will see these marks on listings and offers. Each one means a specific check was completed for that lot or supplier — where it is absent, the check has not been done.

Origin declared
Country (and region or mine where recorded) is attached to the lot record by the supplier and checked for consistency.
Supplier verified
The supplier has passed ARAM KYC: registration, owners, licences, sanctions and bank account.
Documentation available
At least one lot-specific document (COA, assay, SDS) is held and can be released to a qualified buyer.
Independent assay
Grade is confirmed by an inspection company or laboratory appointed under the contract, not the seller alone.
Export pathway assessed
Export permits, quotas, bans and levies for the producing country were checked for this material and route.
Buyer verification
Offer details and supplier introductions are released only to buyers who have passed business verification.
Sample-first
Evaluation quantities are offered from the lot before any volume commitment.
Lot-level records
Stock, documents and custody events are recorded against an identified lot, not a product in general.
Compliance review
An ARAM reviewer approves the offer against the gates that apply to the material before it publishes.
