Shipping Policy

How consignments are shipped, and the limits on what we can promise.

Effective 6 August 2026

Template document

This is a good-faith template written for a business of this type. It has not been reviewed by a qualified lawyer in any jurisdiction. Have it reviewed against the law where you operate and where you sell before relying on it commercially.

01Eligibility is assessed per destination

Shipping eligibility is subject to destination-country regulations. Some natural materials are subject to export or import restriction, and some are restricted by carriers on transport-classification grounds.

We assess this before dispatch. If any line cannot be shipped to your destination we will contact you before processing, and no payment will be taken for that line.

02Transit estimates

Where a configured shipping lane publishes a transit estimate, we show it. Where it does not, we show nothing rather than inventing a figure. Customs clearance times are outside our control in all cases and are never included in an estimate.

03Freight

Consignments above courier weight limits are quoted per consignment against weight, dimensions, destination and documentation requirements. Where freight has not been calculated, the order states so and will not be dispatched until you have accepted a freight quote.

04Duties, taxes and import of record

The buyer is the importer of record unless otherwise agreed in writing. Duties, import taxes and clearance charges are the buyer's responsibility, and taxes are not calculated at checkout.

05Documentation

Phytosanitary certificates, certificates of origin and CITES permits are issued per shipment against the destination country's requirements where they apply. Tell us your destination early — documentation requirements can affect lead time considerably.
