Tuberose absolute, solvent-extracted from flowers picked at night. Tuberose is among the most expensive floral absolutes, and among the most immediately recognisable.

The profile is creamy and narcotic with a distinctive green-waxy, almost rubbery facet and a slightly medicinal camphoraceous lift. It is extremely high impact, and even a fraction of a percent will restructure a floral accord.

Unusually, the cut flower continues producing volatiles after picking, which is why extraction practice for tuberose differs from other florals.
