Narcissus absolute extracted from Narcissus poeticus harvested in the high meadows of the French Massif Central. Production is small, seasonal and geographically concentrated.

The material is not conventionally pretty. It is green, hay-like and bitter, with a mossy, earthy, almost fermented depth and a faint animalic undertone. In small proportion it gives an extraordinary naturalness to floral and chypre accords that nothing else reproduces.

One of the materials where the entire world supply is small enough that availability genuinely varies year to year.
